Research and Development Center
Brief Introduction
Jiangsu Extra-High Voltage Transformer Insulation Material Engineering Research Center was established in July 2010 by Changzhou Yingzhong Electric Co., Ltd. with approval from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology. As a provincial-level engineering research center, it specializes in the R&D of insulation materials for extra-high voltage (EHV) transformers.
The center currently possesses a complete set of IEC/GB standard testing capabilities for insulation materials, covering various testing capabilities including mechanical, physicochemical, electrical performance, aging degree, and microscopic analysis. Additionally, it is equipped with extensive non-standard testing capabilities, such as simulated partial discharge tests in oil, compressive strength tests under ultra-low (or high) temperatures, impact tests, and micro-water content and viscosity tests for liquids.

• Performance Stability and Manufacturing Process Optimization of Insulation Materials for UHV/EHV Equipment.
• Research and development of new insulating materials for UHV/EHV Equipment.
• The rate of degradation of polymerization degree of insulating materials over long-term exposure to different environmental conditions.
• The impact of moisture absorption and oil absorption performance of insulating materials under different environmental conditions on products.
• Research and development of load-bearing wood for LNG ship applications.
Research Direction
The company has obtained certifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. It possesses strong research and development capabilities as well as continuous innovation ability, with its main products filling several domestic gaps. Currently, it has two national key new products, one excellent new product from Jiangsu Province, one patent new product from Jiangsu Province, and six high-tech products. The company holds 13 authorized invention patents and 33 utility model patents.
